Erika Rodriguez is the Associate Director in Residence at the Center for Race, Indigeneity, Disability, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and an ACLS Emerging Voices Fellow. Her current book project, Disabling Progress: Degeneration, Eugenics, and Futurity in Modern Spain, explores the construction of disability in relation to time, scrutinizing the connective tissue between visions of progress in theories of degeneration and early eugenics.
